1mpact is working with the University of Northampton to deliver their "Pathways for Recovery" European Social Fund Project in Northamptonshire & Bedfordshire.

 

Pathways for Recovery is a SEMLEP wide comprehensive employment support initiative focused on helping those most disadvantaged in our communities due to the impact of COVID-19.

 

This project is delivered by a regional partnership including specialist support providers, employment and skills organisations and strategic stakeholders. The project will provide support and opportunities to those furthest away from the labour market to develop new skills.

1mpact's role in the project is to provide intensive support for Non English speaking adults and school parents who may otherwise miss out on skills training, work opportunities or access to education because of their circumstances and background.

​

The project further develops our ongoing community work around breaking down barriers to deliver Social Change in hard-to-reach community locations.

 

We will build on our ESOL/English Language, Digital and Work Skills activities which have progressed many students to further learning, paid work or volunteering. 

​

The project is funded until December 2023 and will support 90 people.
