1mpact have successfully delivered a number of funded education projects in Luton over the last 3 years. Currently we are supporting Beechwood Primary School parents learn English, develop confidence and work skills.
We developed a highly innovative Flexible Outreach Project supporting Female School Parents to learn English and Digital Skills in 5 Primary Schools, 2 Children's Centres and Community locations.
We have identified Luton due to our extensive knowledge, experience and grassroots work in Luton having delivered education there for 10 years in some of the most deprived wards. We have vast experience of running community-based Outreach projects.
The School Centres we have established are based in the wards of Dallow, Biscot, Leagrave, High Town & Farley which are highly deprived wards and classed as Assisted Areas which have economic need and opportunities for growth.
We work at a central community site in Bury Park, which is a main shopping area for the ethnic community. In addition, Luton has a new town centre cultural district with access to community facilities which we can access to provide our service. This location is close to all the bus routes and is adjacent to the Job centres.
